Electrical Technician

An Electrical Technician performs a range of electrical tasks, including wiring, programming, troubleshooting and equipment maintenance using the DDS approach and root cause analyses.

Main accountabilities and responsibilities(including I Care) 

• An Employee with uncompromised commitment to our I Care journey which ensures a safe,healthy and sustainable work environment. 

• Assembling, evaluating, testing, andmaintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and apparatus. 

• Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus. 

• Constructing and fabricating parts using hand tools and specifications. 

• Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams,schematics and technical manuals 

• Advising management on continued use of unsuitable equipment, appliances, and apparatus. 

• Supervisingcontractedelectricians. 

• Ordering electrical supplies and equipment. 

• Works to standards and assures the teams works to it and secure availability of standard technical documentation.

• Experience operating hand and power tools, soldering, and fault-testing equipment
