Location Requirement

This is a hybrid position based in New York City, with an expectation of 4 days per week in the office 1 day remote. Candidates must be local to the NYC area or open to relocation.

Position Overview

We are seeking a well-roundedData Engineer to design, build, and support scalable data pipelines, analytics solutions, and reporting tools. This role sits at the intersection ofdata engineering, analytics, and stakeholder collaboration, and will play a key role in delivering high-quality, data-driven insights across the organization.

The ideal candidate is hands-on withPython, SQL, and ETL development, while also being comfortable buildingPower BI dashboards and partnering with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintainsecure and scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Build and optimizedata models to support analytics and reporting use cases
  • DevelopPower BI dashboards and reports to deliver actionable insights
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Participate inAgile ceremonies and project meetings, ensuring alignment on deliverables, timelines, and quality standards
  • Implementdata quality controls and ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data outputs
  • Develop and maintainPython scripts for data extraction, transformation, and automation
  • Supportmetric development and reporting automation initiatives
  • Contribute toinfrastructure-related activities, including deployments and environment support
  • Create and maintaintechnical documentation (e.g., Confluence)
  • Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • 4–6+ years of experience indata engineering or related field
  • Strong experience withPython and SQL
  • Hands-on experience building and maintainingETL/data pipelines
  • Experience withdata modeling and working with structured datasets
  • Experience withPower BI (dashboard development and reporting)
  • Familiarity withcloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Experience working inAgile environments with cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience withdata automation and metric standardization
  • Exposure toinfrastructure deployments or DevOps practices
  • Experience withConfluence or similar documentation tools
  • Prior experience supportingenterprise reporting or analytics initiatives
