Job Responsibilities

  • Configure, manage, and maintain Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) and Panorama.
  • Create and enforce security policies, including NAT, rules, VPN, and URL filtering.
  • Identify and resolve network security, traffic inspection, and connectivity issues.
  • Deploy security solutions (intrusion detection/prevention) to protect data centers.
  • Utilize scripting (Python, bash) and API integration to automate tasks and optimize configurations.
  • Ensure adherence to industry best practices and maintain compliance documentation
  • Oversee secure access service edge (SASE) and cloud integrations, includingĀ Prisma AccessĀ and Prisma Cloud.Ā 
  • Troubleshoot complex traffic flows, SSL/TLS decryption failures, and high-availability failover scenarios during outages.Ā 
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code and scripting languages like Python, Ansible, or Terraform to manage API-driven security workflows

Required Qualifications

  • Experience:Ā 3–5+ years of network security experience, specifically with Palo Alto Networks technologies.
  • Certifications:Ā Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) is highly preferred.
  • Networking Knowledge:Ā Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), MPLS, and VRF.
  • Skills:Ā Experience with threat intelligence, WildFire, GlobalProtect, and Azure/AWS security integration.
  • Education:Ā B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
