Accounting & Finance Intern

Working location:TRG Office at 65-67 Le Hien Mai Street, Cat Lai Ward, Ho Chi Minh City

What does a successful Accounting & Finance Intern look like?

You will shadow and support members of both the Accounting and Finance teams, putting your knowledge into practice across daily operations and analytical projects. As you will be handling sensitive, confidential financial information, you are required to uphold integrity and fairness in your daily work. You are also detail-oriented and comfortable using spreadsheets and BI tools to record, track, analyze, and present information.

Accounting Responsibilities

• Post journal entries

• Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams to maintain accurate and complete financial records

• Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts

• Process expense claims

• Track, compile, and prepare financial information

• Assist with month-end financial reports

Finance Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the F&A team and managers to develop monthly and ad-hoc reports - defining key metrics, retrieving or supporting data collection from various sources, and presenting mockups/final reports to support decision-making and monitor business health

• Develop and maintain spreadsheet and BI tool dashboards to enable automated reporting

• Support company projects through in-depth analysis of current systems and performance metrics, and model proposed improvements through process and behavioral changes

• Support system development projects and software vendor selection by collecting and analyzing business requirements

• Optimize the use of internal systems and products to support daily activities; suggest effective database structures and help establish rules for improving data quality and reliability

• Other reasonable duties as requested
