Quality & Test Specialist

Key Responsibilities

The selected specialist will:

• Ensure that delivered and existing products, applications, or services comply with:
  • Technical specifications
  • User requirements
  • User stories and use cases
• Diagnose and analyse failures in:
  • Existing systems
  • Applications
  • New functionalities and enhancements
• Produce and maintain documentation supportingquality management processes

Core Tasks

• Analyse systems under testing to identify risks and requirements
• Design and implement comprehensivetest strategies
• Create, design, and maintaintest plans
• Define and developtest acceptance criteria
• Design and maintaintest scripts andtest data
• Prepare and managetest environments
• Execute testing activities and report results clearly and accurately
• Log, track, and managedefects and improvement opportunities
• Produce documentation to support QA and project quality processes

Additional Responsibilities (as required)

• Define thescope of test automation
• Select and evaluate appropriateautomation tools
• Contribute to or developtest automation strategies
• Convert manual test cases intoautomated scripts
• Develop maintainable, scalable, and reusabletest code
• Apply best practices for:
  • Test naming conventions
  • Test structure
  • Assertions
• Maintain:
  • Test data
  • Configurations
  • Reporting tools
• Contribute to:
  • Test result analysis and reporting
  • Defect tracking and resolution processes
• Design and implement tools and methodologies to assess software quality
• Develop and promotetesting standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness

• Bachelor's degree plus6 years of experience in software testing / QA
• Strong experience in:
  • Web technologies
  • Microsoft applications and environments
  • Testing procedures and platforms
  • Integration testing
  • Automation testing frameworks
  • Quality and risk management procedures
  • Technical documentation production
• Designing and executing testing strategies
• Working across multiple testing domains and tools
• Contributing to automation and quality improvements
• Delivering structured and high-quality documentation
