Key Responsibilities

The mission of the Accounting Specialist is toensure accurate and timely execution of accounting processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting, supporting Trafilea’s growth with a scalable and compliant finance foundation. This role plays a critical part in monthly close, financial statement preparation, and intercompany transactions, while also contributing to audit readiness and process improvements.

• Closing & Reporting: Execute journal entries, reconciliations, and account reviews for key accounts (Revenue, COGS).

• Audit Readiness: Provide accurate, timely documentation for external audits.

• Intercompany Transactions: Maintain accuracy of intercompany balances and agreements.

• Financial Statements: Prepare reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders.

• Process Improvements: Contribute to optimization of accounting processes and infrastructure.

• Compliance: Ensure adherence to IFRS standards; SOX/US GAAP knowledge is a plus

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

• Big4/equivalent audit background (5+ years external audit, ideally retail/e-commerce) —OR 1+ yr Senior Auditor + 2+ yrs Sr Accounting Analyst in retail —OR 7+ yrs retail accounting with 3+ yrs at Senior level.

• IFRS expertise (mandatory); SOX/US GAAP a plus.

• NetSuite ERP experience valued.

• Advanced Excel (mandatory).

• English advanced (spoken/written); Spanish intermediate.

• Proactive, dynamic, and autonomous.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

• Calm under pressure, adaptable, and a strong communicator/team player.
