Scrum Master - Tieto Tech Consulting (m/f/d)

Tieto Tech Consulting’s team in Bulgaria consists of 500+ professionals specializing in the development of tailored digital solutions in diverse industries.  

We are looking for an experiencedScrum Masterto support Agile delivery across multiple cross-functional teams building and maintaining enterprise-scale digital solutions. In this role, you will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, improve team effectiveness, and help teams consistently deliver value while fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement. 

You will work closely with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, Architects, DevOps, Developers, QA Engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment between delivery objectives and business priorities. 

This role is based on a hybrid work model, with 3 days per week in our Sofia office.

Key Responsibilities 

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives

• Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement

• Help teams identify and remove blockers and delivery impediments

• Track and communicate delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and key milestones

• Support backlog refinement and effective sprint planning

• Promote transparency, accountability, and self-organization within the team 

• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to align priorities and delivery expectations

• Drive improvements in team processes, workflows, and delivery predictability 

• Foster strong collaboration

• Support Agile adoption and Agile maturity across the organization

Required Experience & Qualifications   

• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in software development environments

• Strong understanding of Agile principles and Scrum framework 

• Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams

• Proven ability to facilitate discussions, resolve conflicts, and remove obstacles

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

• Experience managing dependencies, risks, and competing priorities

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Fluent English, both written and spoken 

A significant advantage would be 

• Professional Scrum Master (PSM), CSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent certification 

• Experience with distributed or global teams

• Experience in cloud, DevOps, SaaS, healthcare, or enterprise product environment 

• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools 

• Experience supporting Agile transformations or process improvement initiatives
