Senior Software Engineer – Tieto Banktech (m/f/d)

We are looking for aSenior Software Engineer with strong hands-on expertise and a passion for building high-quality systems. In this role, you will take technical ownership of ourEquity post-trade platform, driving architecture, modernization, and delivering robust solutions in a complex domain.

What You’ll Do

• Takeend-to-end ownership of features from design to production
• Design, build, and implement solutions usingC#, .NET, REST APIs, and microservices
• Drive modernization of legacy, database-heavy systems intomodular, maintainable architectures
• Contribute directly toarchitecture and design decisions with a strong engineering mindset
• Define and execute technical solutions aligned with product and business needs
• Writeclean, efficient, and production-grade code with focus on performance and scalability
• Take ownership of problem-solving in acomplex, high-impact domain
• Work effectively in a distributed setup across locations

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience withC#, .NET, SQL, APIs, and microservices architecture
• Proven track record inmodernizing legacy systems and refactoring monolithic applications
• Solid understanding ofsystem design and building scalable, resilient solutions
• Hands-on engineer with astrong sense of ownership and accountability
• Ability to work independently and drive technical solutions forward
• Experience withAzure, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices

Nice to Have

• Experience inCapital Markets or Equity post-trade systems
• Understanding ofequity trading workflows
• Experience withDocker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures
• Background inproduct-driven engineering environments
