As a Warehouse Associate at Caterpillar Inc., you will work from a variety of source documents to verify part numbers, part locations and quantities. In addition to counting parts and filling orders, you will conduct first line, basic quality assessment of parts for damage and defects. 
 

Available Shifts:

We have several openings on multiple shifts starting at $22.80/hour! Our off shifts have additional premiums included! We are mostly hiring for our evening shifts.

Successful candidates will be started as soon as a position becomes available on their requested shift.Please note this could cause a waiting period before starting.

What You Will Do: 

• Operating heavy equipment including sit down forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and overhead hoists. 

• Perform material handling and warehousing functions such as unloading, sorting, putting away, picking,packing and shipping parts,materials and supplies. 

• Read process flows and follow detailed instructions to ensure the movement of material within a warehouse. 

• Track and record hourly or daily activities completed during each shift. 

• Attachidentifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on cases, bales, or otherhandling units. 

• Reliability is important,beon-time andmaintain a good attendance record tosafely and efficientlymeet the needs of the customer.

• Physical Requirements: able toliftup to50 poundsindividually and work in an environment withfrequently changing temperatures. Able to work on platform at heights of 26 feet or higher for long stretches of time.

• Safety: Conducts daily maintenance and keeps trackingsafetylogs on equipment. Inspects working environment topromote safe workarea. Utilizes personal protective equipmentrequired or recommended fortask at hand.Speakup ifsafety concernsareencountered.Takes personal accountability for safety. 

• WarehouseManagement: Performs basic warehousing activities such as receiving, putting away, picking,packing and shippingmaterials.Understandand meet daily targetsrelative to role.Maintains item and inventory management records.Helps problem solvingbottlenecks and delays through continuous improvement.Uses handheld scanners toassistreal-time inventory software, toensureaccuratematerial levels aremaintained.
