Role Description

• We are seeking aAutomation QA Test Engineer to join our Single Sign-On Services Engineering team in Pune. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks and strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality, secure, and scalable software solutions.
• You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, validate complex user flows, and drive continuous improvement in test coverage and reliability. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for quality engineering.

Your key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintainautomated test frameworks for web applications, APIs, and microservices
• Integrate automated tests intoCI/CD pipelines using tools likeGitHub Actions,Jenkins, orGitLab CI
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and coverage goals
• Develop and executeend-to-end, regression, performance, and security tests
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with engineering teams to resolve issues
• Maintain test data, environments, and reusable components for scalable automation
• Ensure compliance with accessibility, security, and internationalization standards
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in automation and quality assurance
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to improve testing efficiency

Your skills and experience

• 5+ years of experience inautomation testing of enterprise-grade applications
• Strong hands-on experience withSelenium,Playwright,Cypress, or similar frameworks
• Proficiency inJava,Python, orJavaScript for test scripting
• Experience withAPI testing tools likePostman,REST Assured, orKarate
• Familiarity withOAuth2/SAML/OpenID Connect flows and federated identity systems is a plus
• Solid understanding ofSDLC,Agile methodologies, andDevOps practices
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP,AWS,Azure) and container technologies (Docker,Kubernetes)
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Fluent in English
