JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Department of Supply Chain and Information Systems at Penn State University Park invites applications for two part-time research assistants to start in fall 2026. The successful candidates will assist Dr. Brian Lee for up to 10 hours per week during the academic semester.
Job Duties:
- Answering student questions
- Hosting office hours (three hours per week)
- Grading assignments (typically biweekly)
- Searching the business press for teaching materials
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
Required Qualifications:
- Current undergraduate or graduate student at Penn State
- Completion of MIS 301 at Penn State or a similar course at a comparable institution
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (e.g., Excel VBA)
- Good knowledge of MS Access, Gephi, and Tableau
Compensation:
Starting rate for this position is $16.00 per hour.
