Internal Communications Strategist 


***Remote Option - Candidates must reside in one of the following states: NE or IA
 

Monday - Friday; first shift. This role has the opportunity to work from home in a hybrid capacity, but not fully remote

Serve as a trusted strategic communications advisor and primary communications contact forinternal Nebraska Medicine departmentsand keybusiness units. By developing strong and trusting relationships with department leaders, build and execute internal communications plans designed to achieve department business and enterprise goals. The internal communications strategist works in concert with otherMarketing andCommunications team members including marketing strategists, media relations coordinators, and graphic designers. 

Required Qualifications:

• Sixyears’ experience in corporate communications, public relations,journalism or marketing required.

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, publicaffairs or related field required.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Teams) required.

• Experience creating multi-mediacommunications such as video,photos and creative AP-style required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Healthcare experience preferred.
