People Advisor - 12-month contract

Weâre looking for a proactive, people-focused People Advisor to join our growing team in London. Youâll work closely with our Chief People Officer while taking ownership of day-to-day People Operations across the business. From onboarding and employee support to payroll coordination, ER matters, HR systems, and process improvement â youâll be at the heart of the employee experience.Â

This role is ideal for someone already operating at People Advisor level and ready to step into a broader people management role, or an experienced People advisor who enjoys being hands-on in a scaling business. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with scope for extension or transition to a permanent role.

Youâll also gain valuable international exposure, supporting employees and operations across multiple regions including the UK, Hong Kong, Australia, Ireland, and the US.Â

What youâll be doingÂ
- Managing day-to-day HR operations across the businessÂ
- Acting as the first point of contact for employee and manager queries via the HR inboxÂ
- Supporting employees with policies, processes, benefits, and general people queriesÂ
- Coordinating onboarding, inductions, and smooth offboarding experiencesÂ
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentationÂ
- Owning and maintaining our HRIS, HiBob, ensuring data accuracy and integrityÂ
- Producing HR reporting and monthly people metrics for leadership and Board reviewÂ
- Supporting managers with day-to-day people matters and documentationÂ
- Assisting with employee relations cases, disciplinary processes, and meeting coordinationÂ
- Coordinating monthly payroll in partnership with Finance across multiple entitiesÂ
- Managing benefits administration including enrolments and changesÂ
- Supporting governance and compliance activities across the People functionÂ
- Managing purchase orders and approvals through ApprovalMaxÂ
What weâre looking forÂ
- Minimum 3 yearsâ experience in a People/HR role within a fast-paced startup, scaleup, or growing businessÂ
- Experience working within a small or lean People teamÂ
- Strong hands-on experience using HiBob (essential)Â
- Solid understanding of HR operations, employee relations, and core people processesÂ
- Experience supporting payroll processes alongside FinanceÂ
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detailÂ
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and adapting in a changing environmentÂ
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skillsÂ
- Able to work independently, take ownership, and be self-sufficientÂ
- Interest in or exposure to international HR operations / multi-country environmentsÂ
