Employment Mode: Contract -- Inside IR35 

Duration: 2 months 

This role owns the day-to-day administration, health, and continuous improvement of the organisation's Atlassian JIRA and Tempo platform. The role holder is both the platform's custodian — keeping it secure, licensed, and running smoothly — and its subject matter expert, responsible for enabling teams across the business to use JIRA and Tempo effectively through guidance, standards, and board design. The role combines hands-on administration with a proactive, consultative element: working directly with Super Users and Board Owners to consolidate, simplify, and improve how work is tracked, and using PowerBI to turn JIRA data into insight for leadership.

Skills:

• Proven experience administering JIRA in an enterprise environment, including user, licence, and permission management.
  
• Hands-on experience with Tempo (Timesheets and/or Planner/Structure) in a live production environment.
  
• Track record of designing, consolidating, and improving JIRA boards and workflows across multiple teams.
  
• Working knowledge of JIRA automation rules, apps/marketplace add-ons, and integration approaches.
  
• Practical experience building dashboards and reports in PowerBI, including connecting to and modelling JIRA data.
  
• Strong stakeholder management skills; comfortable working directly with Super Users, Delivery Managers, and senior leaders.
  
• Ability to write clear, user-friendly documentation and training materials for non-technical audiences.
  
• Atlassian certification (e.g. ACP-JIRA Administrator) desirable but not essential.
  
• Experience in a project/portfolio delivery, PMO, or IT operations environment is advantageous.
