ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION:
Our client is seeking a Test Support Engineer to lead test planning, sensor deployment logistics, and technical support for future reentry events. This role combines test coordination with electrical and software engineering expertise supporting complex, geographically dispersed test environments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Own test planning and logistics for sensor deployments supporting future reentry events
· Plan and coordinate sensor staging and testing at remote and ocean deployment sites
· Coordinate testing across geographically dispersed locations
· Provide electrical engineering support for complex systems, including design, architecture, procurement, integration, and testing
· Integrate electrical components into complex hardware and software systems
· Direct electrical installation, maintenance, documentation, and testing activities
· Prepare technical reports and recommendations based on user requirements and emerging technologies
· Develop, maintain, and enhance software systems based on documented requirements
· Support software architecture decisions, including hardware/software trade-offs and COTS/GOTS solutions
· Design, implement, integrate, and test software applications
· Manage technical risks, cost, schedule, and project requirements
· Review software components for compliance with design requirements and document test results
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field
· Experience with test planning, deployment logistics, and geographically dispersed testing
· Experience with complex electrical systems, integration, and testing
· Experience developing or integrating software for complex technical systems
· Understanding of hardware/software interfaces and system integration
· Strong project planning, risk management, and problem-solving skills
· Ability to coordinate technical activities across multiple teams and locations
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate is a versatile test engineer with experience coordinating complex field deployments and supporting electrical and software integration. Experience with aerospace, defense, sensor systems, reentry testing, or remote/ocean test operations is highly desirable.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
