- Salary Range: $135,000-$140,000 USD per annum
Reporting to the Director of Rooms, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:    Â
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service Â
Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards consistently offering professional, engaging and friendly service.  Â
Ensuring the highest degree of cleanliness and maintenance in accordance with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts standards, policies and procedures.      Â
Creating an environment wherein continuous improvements are made in the areas of GOP, EES, VOG, and LQA Â
Effectively and accurately managing payroll and departmental expenses of Housekeeping department, within budgeted and forecasted guidelines. Â
Developing and executing, in conjunction with the Executive Committee, any capital projects related to guest rooms and public areas. Â
Actively engage with local laundry partners and consistently source new business opportunities  Â
Overseeing all recruitment processes, and developing departmental succession plans Â
Effectively manage all colleagues relationships within the department Â
Maintaining an environment that promotes the health, wellness and safety of both colleagues and guests   Â
Maintaining an active Preventative Maintenance program in conjunction with the Director, Engineering Â
Ensuring high colleague engagement through recognition and removal of identified barriers Â
Overseeing the Housekeeping Management to maximize leadership synergy Â
Liaising with all Hotel departments as required Â
Actively participating as a member of hotel committees as required Â
Ensuring existing environmental initiatives are adhered to, and new and innovative environmental opportunities are implemented Â
Other duties as assigned Â
Previous Senior Housekeeping Leadership experience, 2-3 years within a similar establishment is required Â
Proven leadership, developer and delegation skills with an ability to lead medium-size team of 30-45 colleagues to achieve the departmental goals Â
Strong organizational and administration skills                  Â
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal          Â
Ability to work in a fast paced, diverse environment            Â
University degree or Hotel Management Diploma preferred                                                          Â
Excellent computer skills                        Â
Knowledge of the Property Manager System / Opera       Â
Excellent problem solver and decision maker Â
Physical and operational demands:Â
Mobility: Moving between guestrooms, public areas, and service zones to inspect cleanliness and address issues Â
Hands‑on oversight: Occasionally assisting with cleaning tasks or demonstrating procedures to staff Â
Standing and walking for extended periods during inspections, meetings, and guest interactions Â
Lifting and carrying light to moderate items up to 60 pounds (e.g., cleaning supplies, linens) when necessary Â
Working irregular hours including weekends, holidays, and early mornings, which can affect physical staminaÂ
