What you'll do...
Role summary:The Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services, oversees the operation and maintenance of exterior facility functions, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. This role involves managing projects, coordinating resources, and performing seasonal maintenance to uphold facility quality and safety. The position requires technical expertise in equipment operation, troubleshooting, and customer service, along with budget oversight and vendor coordination. The Technician supports continuous improvement initiatives, enforces company policies, and fosters a safe, efficient work environment while contributing to sustainable facility upgrades and cost management.

What you'll do:
- Manage and prioritize exterior facility service projects, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
- Prepare and execute budgets, including cost estimates and approval of purchases for parts, materials, and equipment.
- Perform seasonal exterior maintenance, including snow and ice management, landscaping, and shopping cart service.
- Operate and maintain vehicles and powered equipment safely, conducting inspections and coordinating required maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies while identifying and addressing hazards.
- Lead third-party providers, conduct quality inspections, and resolve customer facility-related concerns.
- Collaborate with Home Office to standardize equipment and optimize operational costs.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience in facility maintenance and exterior services, including seasonal landscaping and snow removal operations.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Ability to manage budgets, approve purchases, and coordinate material requisitions effectively.
- Skilled in operating and maintaining heavy machinery and powered equipment safely and efficiently.
- Demonstrated capability to lead third-party providers and conduct quality assurance inspections.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service and issue resolution.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize work assignments and manage multiple projects.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
