Portfolio B2C Architect

We’re looking for a Portfolio B2C Architect to join us at Telia and help shape the architecture behind our consumer products and services. You will play a key role in improving delivery flow, reducing bottlenecks, and enabling faster, more predictable execution across Telia’s B2C portfolio.

I’m Vibeke Jørpeland, Head of IT Value Delivery, and I’m looking for someone to grow with us. . You’ll join a team that enables delivery of IT solutions, from architectural design and planning through implementation across a complex IT landscape.

What you’ll do:

This is a portfolio architecture role, not a traditional solution architect role. You will shape direction across initiatives, clarify dependencies and constraints early, and help ensure the portfolio is aligned, feasible, and ready for delivery.

• Accountable for the architectural overview across the B2C portfolio and make cross-initiative dependencies, risks, and constraints visible.
• Strengthen early shaping of initiatives by assessing feasibility, strategic fit, delivery impact, and architectural consequences before implementation starts.
• Bridge stakeholders across business, enterprise architecture, solution architecture, and IT leadership to create shared direction and better decisions.
• Support portfolio and EPIC governance with architectural input that improves prioritization, sequencing, and delivery flow.
• Contribute to high-level solution directions where needed, while leaving detailed implementation design to solution architects and delivery teams.

What will help you thrive in this role:

You are strong at seeing the bigger picture and turning complexity into direction. Compared with a traditional solution architect, you are less focused on detailed solution design for a single implementation and more focused on portfolio-wide alignment, trade-offs, and delivery readiness across multiple initiatives.

• Experience in architecture, business architecture, portfolio governance, or a similar role in a large and complex environment.
• Strong ability to assess dependencies, trade-offs, and delivery implications across initiatives—not just within one solution.
• Good understanding of enterprise landscapes, governance, and how architecture supports strategic execution.
• Comfort working in agile delivery environments; telecom BSS/OSS knowledge is an advantage but not required.
• Clear and structured communicator who can present options, challenge constructively, and build trust across business and IT.
• Fluency in Norwegian and English.
