Boiler O&M Apprentice (union)

What you will do:

Do you have HVAC and/or boiler experience?WearelookingforskilledServicemenwhohaveworkedinresidential,lightcommercial,heavycommercial,industrial,andboilerenvironmentstojoinourteamandworkonthemostadvancedheavycommercial,industrial,andboilerequipment.

We provide factory certification through our ServiceTechnicalAcademy(STA)withmilestonerecognition,monetaryrewards,careeradvancementopportunities,andincreasedincentiveopportunitiesforexecutedpull-throughwork.Wewillequipyouwithtoolsandavehicletoperformyourjobatthehigheststandard.

Servicemen must have practical working experience with residential, light commercial,commercialHVAC,and/orboilermechanicalequipment.Mayberequiredtosatisfactorilypassanexaminationtoidentifyspecialskills.ScopeofworkshallbelimitedtocommercialHVACRandboilerservice,maintenance,repair,andreplacement.

PossibilityofbeingacceptedintotheLocalUnionApprenticeshipafteratleastsix(6)monthsofworkinghourswithaLeadJourneymanandManager.

Mustbeabletoworkinconditionsthatmaybedirtyand/orrequireextendedworkhours.

What we look for:

Required:

• Performmaintenance,repair,andreplacementservicesonlightcommercialheatingandcoolingsystemsandcommercialboilerequipment.
• HVACandboilersystemsmaintenance.
• Troubleshoot,service,andrepairboilers,burners,pumps,controls,andrelatedheatingequipment.
• Residential,lightcommercial,industrial,commercial,and/orboilerserviceexperience.
• HighSchoolDiplomaorequivalent.

Preferred:

• EPARefrigerationCertification.
• Experienceworkingwithsteam,hotwater,andhydronicboilersystems.
• BoilerOperatorLicenseorrelatedboilercertificationaplus.
• Experienceservicingcommercialandindustrialboilerequipment.

Pay Range: $21.50 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
