Title:Technology Support Specialist I
Location:New York, NY
Type: Contract

Our client is seeking Technology Support Specialist who will provide fields services/desktop support.

Key Accountabilities:

Service Tickets: Install, configure, and maintain workstations, printers, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
Deployment: Perform application updates and patches as needed, and provide floor support through regular rounding.
Customer Service: Deliver excellent, personalized service to ensure customer satisfaction and build trusted relationships.
Collaboration: Work with other Field Services teams, Nursing teams, and Server teams to escalate and resolve issues.
Communication: Clearly explain issues, solutions, and instructions to customers.
Time Management: Effectively manage multiple tasks and service appointments within scheduled timeframes.
Technical Documentation: Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Adaptability: Adjust to new technologies, tools, and varying work environments and conditions.
Self-Sufficiency: Work independently on ticket resolution and troubleshooting activities.
Teamwork: Contribute effectively to team-based projects while supporting shared goals and outcomes.

Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, HR, or a related field; or 4 years of related work experience.
Strong problem-solving mindset with proven ability to analyze technical and functional issues independently.
Ability to work autonomously and adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
