Russell Tobin is partnering with a leading AI technology company to hire a Demo Systems Administrator – Technical Enablement to own and evolve the demo environment used by its go-to-market teams.
This is not a traditional systems administration role. The team is looking for someone who can take ownership of the demo organization, keep it reliable and easy to use, and continuously improve how customer-facing teams build and deliver demos.
The ideal candidate understands both the operational side of managing a shared SaaS environment and the needs of Sales, Solutions Architecture, Solutions Engineering, and other technical field teams. You should be comfortable thinking beyond day-to-day administration and identifying new ways to create, automate, and scale demo experiences.
What You’ll Do
- Own the day-to-day administration and overall health of the company's demo organization
- Manage users, seats, permissions, feature settings, access, and organization configuration
- Support provisioning and troubleshoot issues affecting customer-facing demos
- Maintain and improve demo features, connectors, integrations, and shared environments
- Partner closely with Sales, Solutions Architects, Solutions Engineers, and other go-to-market stakeholders to understand their demo needs
- Help teams determine how new demos can be created and supported within existing environments
- Identify opportunities to improve the way demos are provisioned, managed, reused, and scaled
- Build lightweight scripts and automations to reduce manual administrative work
- Use Claude and Claude Code to help develop scripts and workflow automations
- Propose improvements to demo infrastructure and processes as business needs evolve
- Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders and provide responsive support when issues arise
Required Qualifications
- Experience owning or administering SaaS, enterprise, sandbox, demo, or customer-facing technical environments
- Experience supporting demos, demo infrastructure, Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or similar go-to-market technical teams
- Ability to think beyond basic administration and contribute to how new demos and demo environments should be created
- Hands-on experience with user provisioning, permissions, organization settings, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Comfort working with scripts, APIs, and automation
- Comfortable using AI coding tools such as Claude Code to build or improve automations
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work directly with a wide variety of go-to-market stakeholders and translate their needs into practical environment changes
Preferred Qualifications
- Demo Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Sales Engineering, or technical enablement experience
- Experience owning demo or sandbox environments for a scaled sales organization
- Experience creating reusable or scalable demo experiences
- Familiarity with generative AI and large language model products
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools to create scripts, integrations, or workflow automation
- Experience supporting a rapidly growing SaaS or enterprise technology organization
