About the Role

TD SYNNEX is looking for an experiencedIT Service Operations Manager to lead the operational excellence ofbusiness-critical digital platforms across the enterprise.

This is ahybrid leadership role combiningpeople management withhands-on operational responsibilities. While you will lead and develop a team ofService Operations Engineers, you will also remain actively involved inMajor Incident Management,operational governance,service improvements, andcross-functional collaboration to ensure thereliability,availability, andperformance of critical business services.

Acting as the primary leader duringMajor Incidents, you will coordinateEngineering,Product,Infrastructure,Architecture,Security,Vendors, andBusiness stakeholders to restore services quickly, minimize business impact, and drivecontinuous operational improvement.

Working closely with global technology teams, you will help matureIT Service Management (ITSM) andSite Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices throughautomation,observability, andoperational excellence.

About the Team

You will join a global IT organization responsible for deliveringstable,secure, andscalable technology services that support TD SYNNEX's digital platforms and business operations.

The team focuses on:

  • Ensuringhigh availability and performance of critical production services.

  • Drivingoperational excellence throughstandardization andautomation.

  • LeadingMajor Incident Management andcontinuous service improvement.

  • Partnering with engineering teams to improveservice reliability andoperational readiness.

  • Delivering high-quality IT services aligned with business priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • LeadIT Service Operations to ensure theavailability,performance,reliability, andsecurity of production services.

  • Manage and develop a team ofService Operations Engineers while remaining actively involved inMajor Incident Management and operational decision-making.

  • DriveIncident,Problem, andChange Management processes aligned withITIL v4 best practices.

  • Partner withEngineering,Product,Infrastructure, andBusiness teams to improveservice reliability and operational readiness.

  • Monitor production environments usingobservability tools and drive proactive issue resolution.

  • Identify and implementautomation andcontinuous improvement initiatives.

  • Track key operationalKPIs includingSLA compliance,MTTR, and service availability.

  • Manage third-party vendors, maintain operational documentation, and provide regular service performance reporting.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 6+ years of experience inIT Operations,Service Management,SRE, orDevOps environments.

  • 3+ years leadingService Operations,Incident Management, or technical operations teams.

  • Experience managingMajor Incidents in complex enterprise environments.

  • Strong knowledge ofITIL v4,cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP),microservices,APIs, anddistributed systems.

  • Experience withobservability andlog management tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Datadog, Prometheus, Splunk, ELK).

  • Familiarity withCI/CD,Kubernetes,containerized environments, andDevOps practices.

  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.

Preferred

  • ITIL v4 Foundation certification.

  • Experience withServiceNow or similarITSM platforms.

  • Experience in large enterprise or global IT environments.

  • Knowledge ofautomation,Site Reliability Engineering, and outsourced service operations.
