Job Purpose

The Application Security Analyst supports the delivery and continuous improvement ofapplication security capabilities across TD SYNNEX globally.

This role is suited to a junior security professional with around2+ years of experience incybersecurity,application security,secure coding, orvulnerability management. The successful candidate will supportapplication security testing,vulnerability assessment,threat analysis, andsecurity technology operations, helping to identify and reduce risks across applications and development environments.

The role requires a good understanding of commoncoding vulnerabilities,secure development practices, and application security concepts such asOWASP Top 10,SAST,DAST,vulnerability remediation, andrisk prioritisation.

The Application Security Analyst will work closely with security teams, IT, development teams, and business stakeholders to support the protection, detection, and response capabilities of TD SYNNEX’s global security environment.

Responsibilities

• Support TD SYNNEX’s globalapplication security andcybersecurity technologies.

• Execute key security processes, includingapplication security testing,vulnerability management, andthreat analysis.

• Review security findings and help identifycoding vulnerabilities,misconfigurations, and areas of risk.

• Supportvulnerability prioritisation,remediation tracking, and communication with technical teams.

• Assist withsecurity health checks,compliance reviews, andKPI reporting.

• Help improvesecure coding practices, process documentation, and security procedures.

• Supportprocess automation andorchestration to improve operational efficiency.

• Contribute to investigations related to potentialapplication security incidents.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, application security, secure coding, or vulnerability management.

• Understanding of commonapplication and coding vulnerabilities, includingOWASP Top 10.

• Basic knowledge ofSAST,DAST,dependency scanning, or vulnerability scanning tools.

• Familiarity withsecure software development practices and remediation of security findings.

• Basic programming or scripting knowledge, ideally withPython,JavaScript,Java,C#, or similar.

• Ability to analyse security findings, assess risk, and communicate clearly with technical teams.

• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and willingness to keep learning.

• Good communication skills and ability to work in a global, cross-functional environment.
