AbouttheRole

As a Watch Motorman, you will participate in the operation, maintenance, and servicing of the vessel's machinery and technical equipment. You willhelpensurethatallworkiscarriedoutsafely,efficiently,andinanenvironmentallyresponsiblemanner,whilecontributingtothesmoothoperationoftheEngineDepartment.

• Hasrelevantprofessionalexperienceandtherequiredqualificationsfortheposition.

• Demonstratesastrongcommitmenttosafetyandenvironmentalawareness.

• Ispositive,service-minded,andenjoysworkingaspartofateam.

• Possessesstrongtechnicalskillsandaninterestinmarineengineeringandmaintenance.

• HasagoodcommandofEnglish,whichistheworkinglanguageonboard.

• KnowledgeofFinnishand/orSwedishisconsideredanadvantage.

Qualifications

• AvalidWatchkeepingRatingEngineCertificate(STCWIII/4)isrequired.

• Higherenginedepartmentcertificationsorcompetenciesareconsideredan advantage.
