Senior Java back-end developer (Categorie Protette, L.68/99)

We’re looking for aSenior Java Backend Developer to join our agile, cross-functional team and play a key role in designing and building scalable, high-quality services. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with product owners and fellow engineers to shape technical solutions, influence architecture decisions, and help turn business needs into robust, secure applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate within anagile cross-functional team, closelyworking with the product owner to outline products and strategies
• Design application architectures andestablish technical solutions for the provided services
• Work closely with other software engineers in afriendly and collaborative environment
• Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security requirements
•Advocate for continuous improvement in development processes and technologies
Qualifications:
•5+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with a focus onJavaprogramming
• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree inComputer Science, Engineering or related fields, or equivalent experience
•Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming principles (OOP, OOD, SOLID), algorithms, data structures, and design patterns
• Provenexperience in working withJavaframeworks, with a special emphasis onSpring
• Demonstrated ability to implement and execute different automated testing strategies
• Familiarity with relationaldatabase concepts and interactions (SQL, RDBMS)
• Exposure to high availability solutions andunderstanding of SaaS/PaaS models
•Fluency in written and spoken Italian, ability to read andcommunicate in English
Nice to have skills:
•Good understanding of the JavaScript ecosystem; work experience withReact.js/Next.jsis a bonus
• Knowledge of service deployments usingDocker containers is a welcomed addition
