Position overview

We are looking for aLinux Systems Administratorto join our Operations team at PTisp and help ensure our infrastructure is secure, stable, and high-performing.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working close to production systems, solving real operational problems, and gradually improving automation, reliability, and scalability.

What you’ll be doing

  • Administering and maintaining Linux systems in production environments

  • Managing and monitoring critical services (Web, email, databases)

  • Troubleshooting incidents and solving issues

  • Collaborating with the team to continuously improve infrastructure security, performance, and reliability

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience with Unix/Linux operating systems

  • Knowledge of DBMS (MySQL)

  • Experience with LAMP/LEMP stacks (including HTTP protocol)

  • Understanding of email protocols and related services

  • Basic knowledge of DNS fundamentals

Nice to have:

  • Experience with shared hosting panels (cPanel, Plesk)

  • Knowledge of backup systems (R1Soft, Acronis, Veeam, Proxmox Backup Server, JetBackup)

  • Configuration management (Puppet, Ansible)

  • Virtualization or containers (KVM, Docker, LXC)

  • Monitoring tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana)

  • Open-source published projects/contributions.
