Job Title: Construction Estimator (Commercial)

Pay: $80,000 – $130,000 per year

Gardner Construction is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Construction Estimator with at least 3 years of experience in commercial construction estimating to join our team in Rockwall, TX.

This is a position where you will play a critical role in preconstruction, budgeting, and bid strategy. If you are confident in your estimating abilities, proficient in Procore, and ready to contribute to a growing commercial construction company, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for commercial construction projects
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to develop competitive bids
• Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and supplier proposals
• Develop and manage budgets within Procore
• Identify value engineering opportunities
• Collaborate with project managers and leadership during preconstruction
• Assist with bid reviews, scope clarification, and project handoffs

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of construction estimating experience (commercial preferred)
• Proficiency in Procore is required
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
• Experience coordinating with subcontractors and vendors
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
