About the opportunity

TheEducation Support Officer works within the Business School’sLearning Innovation Office (LIO) to deliver a broad range of project related administrative and operational functions. These include communications from LIO to the wider Business School and to project stakeholders, oversight of contracts with external service suppliers, management and payment of invoices, and support for the design and development of online learning materials in the University’s learning management system.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • provide administrative and operational support for learning innovation and digital learning projects, ensuring activities are delivered efficiently and in line with project objectives
  • coordinate project communications and maintain effective engagement with stakeholders across the Business School and wider University
  • support the planning, implementation and delivery of strategic projects, including tracking activities, milestones and outcomes
  • manage project-related procurement, invoices and financial records, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with University processes
  • monitor and coordinate contracts with external suppliers and service providers to support successful project delivery
  • assist in the design, development and quality assurance of online learning materials within the University’s learning management system
  • maintain project documentation, records and reporting systems, while providing high-quality administrative support to the Learning Innovation Office team.

About you (selection criteria)

  • bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience
  • ability to provide administrative and project support within a higher education institution or similarly complex organisation
  • strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • ability to build productive relationships and engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • ability to manage procurement, invoices, budgets or financial records, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • ability to support online learning activities via a learning management system, including content administration, quality assurance and the delivery of digital learning resources
  • ability to work independently and collaboratively, using initiative and sound judgement to achieve outcomes efficiently and effectively.
