Regulatory Compliance Manager

Our client, a leading professional services firm in Malta, is currently looking for aRegulatory Compliance Manager to join their team and help shape the firm's approach in the Governance, Risk, and Compliance domain. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated compliance professional to lead client-facing projects, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure high-quality deliverables across medium risk assignments.

This is a hybrid role offering a salary of up to €55K.

Role & Responsibilities

• Contribute to strategic planning and deliver aligned business projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget

• Manage and deliver medium-risk projects, defining client requirements and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships throughout the engagement lifecycle

• Identify and mitigate risks and issues during project delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction

• Lead and mentor team members, manage resources effectively, and support recruitment efforts to build a high-performing team

• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and drive process improvements across the compliance function

• Develop client relationships, identify opportunities for further engagement, and provide valuable insights to support client decision-making

• Apply strong knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks, including GDPR, to deliver practical and commercially sound solutions

• Conduct compliance audits, gap assessments, and regulatory projects, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and standards

Education, Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in management, consulting, or operational roles

• MQF Level 6 qualification in business, law, or compliance

• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks, including GDPR

• Proven experience in compliance audits, gap assessments, and regulatory projects

• Skilled in project and change management, with the ability to adapt to evolving client needs

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Strong report writing, presentation, and client engagement abilities

• Adaptable, collaborative, and a natural leader with a proactive mindset
