How you will do it:

WearelookingforskilledHVACandBoilerMechanicswhohavepracticalworkexperienceintheirtrade,includingHVACpiping,plumbing,pipefitting,boilersystems,and/ormechanicalequipmentservice.

Mechanics must have practical working experience in lightcommercialorcommercialmechanicalequipment,includingheating,cooling,steam,hotwater,andboilersystems.Candidatesmayberequiredtosatisfactorilypassanexaminationtoidentifyspecialskills.ScopeofworkshallincludecommercialHVACRandboilerservice.

Servicemen maypartnerwithJourneymenintherepairandmaintenanceofcentrifugalchillers,steamturbines,open-drivescrewchillers,commercialboilers,burners,steamsystems,hotwatersystems,hydronicsystems,pumps,andassociatedmechanicalequipment.

Performmaintenance,repair,replacement,startup,commissioning,andtroubleshootingservicesoncommercialheating,cooling,andboilersystems.

Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve facility inefficiencies and resolve HVAC and boiler-related service issues. As a trusted advisor to our customers, you will provide solutions and outcomes at the timeofcommissioningandaftermarketservice.Providerecommendationsandsolutionstoensurefacilitiesareoperatingefficiently,includingidentifyingHVACandboilersystemupgradeopportunities.Providequotestosupportrecommendationsandsolutions.

Required

• MustbeamemberorwillingtojointheUnitedAssociationofJourneymenandApprenticesofthePlumbingandPipeFittingIndustryoftheUnitedStatesandCanada,AFL-CIO.
• BeadedicatedmemberofaNorthAmericaBranchteamwillingtolearnandberesponsibleforHVACandboilersystemtroubleshooting,repair,andaftermarketservicesforthisfast-growingbusiness.
• Minimum of three (3) years commercialand/orindustrialmechanicaltroubleshootingexperienceintheHVACandboilerindustry.Thisincludesrooftopunits,pumps,fans,coolingtowers,boilers,burners,hydronicheatingsystems,steamsystems,chillers,compressors,andplumbing.
• Experienceperformingmaintenance,repair,andreplacementservicesoncommercialHVACandboilersystems.
• Experiencetroubleshootingsteamboilers,hotwaterboilers,burners,boilercontrols,pumps,valves,heatexchangers,andassociatedauxiliaryequipment.
• Mechanicalshaftalignmentusingdialindicators,etc.,onpumps,fans,andcompressors.
• Abletousevibrationequipmenttotroubleshootdrivetrainsandrotatingmechanicalequipment.
• Travelmayberequired(10%to20%)tosupportBranchcustomeractivities,troubleshooting,installation,boilerstartups,andrepairs.
• Youwillberequiredtopassaknowledgeexaminationtoassessproficiencies.
• Opportunitytoinvestincareerdevelopment.YouwillenrollintrainingprogramstogainknowledgeinHVACandboilerproducts,controls,service,andsalesquoting.
• Youwillworkwithotherlocalmarketmechanics,Servicemen,Journeymen,andapprentices.

• Prioritizesafetyinallforms.
• UniversalEPArefrigerantlicense,applicablestateorlocallicensing,andvaliddriver'slicense.

Preferred

• Experiencewithcommercialandindustrialboilersystems,includingsteamandhotwaterboilers.
• Experienceservicingburners,combustioncontrols,boilersafetydevices,steamdistributionsystems,condensatereturnsystems,andhydronicheatingsystems.
• BoilerOperatorLicense,StationaryEngineerLicense,orequivalentboilercertificationpreferred.
• Experiencewithboilercommissioning,combustionanalysis,andboilerefficiencyoptimization.
• Experiencesupportinghealthcare,industrial,manufacturing,education,orlargecommercialfacilitieswithHVACandboilerequipment.

PayRange: $43.70 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
