We are looking for an experiencedPlatform Engineer to join a short-term project focused on building and accelerating a cloud-based data platform on Microsoft Azure.

This is a hands-on delivery role. We arenot looking for architects or strategy consultants, but for an engineer with proven experience implementing, automating, and deploying Azure infrastructure and data platforms in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure Azure cloud infrastructure to support the data platform.
• Provision infrastructure usingTerraform and/orAzure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
• Design, implement, and maintainCI/CD pipelines usingAzure DevOps.
• Deploy and configure theAzure Databricks platform, ensuring it is production-ready.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and platform management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to accelerate platform delivery.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues and optimize platform reliability.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as aPlatform Engineer,Cloud Engineer, or similar hands-on infrastructure role.
• Strong experience withMicrosoft Azure.
• Expertise inTerraform and/orARM Templates.
• Experience building and maintainingCI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge ofAzure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience deploying and configuringAzure Databricks.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced delivery environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with data engineering platforms or modern data ecosystems.
• Knowledge of cloud security and governance best practices.
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams.
