Talan is looking for a talentedJava Developer with React experience to join our team delivering cutting-edgeFront Office solutions within Global Markets environments.

You will play a key role in designing and enhancingregulatory, alerting, and sales enablement platforms, directly supporting front-office users and business stakeholders across capital markets.

This is an exciting opportunity to work onhigh-impact, real-time applications in complex trading environments, collaborating with both business and technical teams to drive innovation and performance.

You will be part of aFront Office technology ecosystem supporting Global Markets activities, working on advanced sales and trading tools used by front-office teams.

The role operates within adistributed, agile delivery model, collaborating closely with:

• Business stakeholders (sales & trading)
• Application support teams
• QA and testing teams
• Distributed development teams across Europe and globally

You will contribute to the development ofmodern, scalable applications used in fast-paced, business-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintainfront-office sales tools and associated applications
• Contribute across the fullsoftware development lifecycle (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support)
• Build and enhancehigh-performance, low-latency applications
• DevelopRESTful APIs and modern web interfaces (React)
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver value-driven solutions
• Work alongside production support teams to ensuresmooth releases and operational stability
• Provide3rd line support and assist in troubleshooting production issues
• Participate incode reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills & Experience (Required)

• Strong experience inJava (server-side development)
• Experience buildingweb-based applications and REST APIs
• Solid experience withJavaScript frameworks, particularly React
• Good understanding ofapplication performance and optimisation
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to operate effectively inagile, collaborative environments
• Experience withrelational databases and SQL
• Exposure toinvestment banking or capital markets environments
• Experience withmulti-threaded and distributed systems
• Familiarity withCI/CD tools (Jenkins, TeamCity) and deployment tools (Ansible)
• Knowledge offront office trading systems (FX, Rates, Credit, or derivatives)
• Experience withmonitoring and observability tools
• Strong problem-solving mindset with aproactive approach
