Junior Subsea Control Engineer Egypt

ISS International S.p.A. is looking for a Junior Electrical / Control Engineer to join an Oil & Gas Project based in New Cairo, Egypt, in the position of Junior Subsea Control Engineer.

The opportunity is intended for ajunior engineer with an Electrical, Electronic, Automation, Instrumentation or Control Engineering background, who will be assigned to and develop within theSubsea Control Engineering discipline.

The selected candidate will support the project engineering team in activities related tosubsea control systems, including technical documentation review, engineering coordination and technical support to electrical, instrumentation, automation and control systems associated with subsea production facilities.

The position is mainly office-based inNew Cairo, with possible short-term surveys and technical activities on offshore platforms in Egypt.

• Position: Junior Subsea Control Engineer;

• Required Background: Junior Electrical / Control Engineer;

• Location: New Cairo, Egypt + possible surveys/missions to offshore platforms;

• Expected Starting Date: 01/11/2026;

• Duration: until 30/11/2027, with high probability of extension;

• Working Schedule: 8 hours/day, 5 days/week;

• Rotation: N/A – Resident position;

• Contract: Consultant Agreement with ISS International S.p.A., Rome, Italy.

Candidates should have aDegree in Electrical, Electronic, Automation, Instrumentation, Control Engineering or a related discipline.

Previous academic, internship or professional exposure tocontrol systems, instrumentation, automation, electrical systems, PLC/SCADA, offshore facilities, subsea systems or Oil & Gas projects will be considered an advantage, but previous subsea experience is not necessarily required for the position.

BOSIET certification is required for offshore activities. Candidates who do not currently hold a valid BOSIET must be willing to obtain it; the related documented expenses will be reimbursed by ISS International S.p.A.

The ideal candidate should have good analytical and communication skills, willingness to develop professionally within theSubsea Control Engineering discipline and availability to participate in offshore platform surveys and project-related site activities when required.
