- Accurately and consistently execute and record experimental method, materials, and results.
- Become an expert on the operation of the Roche High Throughput Sequencing Platform.
- Design, implement, and analyze sequencing results of various microfluidic device process changes and various operating parameters.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, conduct failure analysis, and perform device development in a fast-paced environment.
- Debug instrumentation, device, and software issues to create a robust platform.
- Understand and apply statistical methods, design of experiments, and/or process control monitoring techniques.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- 0-5 years applicable industry experience. Preferably 2+ years experience.
- B.S. in bioengineering, electrical or mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, statistics, or a related discipline with a background in molecular biology, biochemistry, or surface/materials science.
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent written and electronic record keeping skills.
- Proficiency in writing technical reports and verbally communicating with other technical staff.
- Excellent troubleshooting (experimental, instrument, device, software, reagents) and problem solving skills, along with experimental design experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work well in a team.
- Prefer experience with statistical data analysis using JMP or Python.
- Prefer Python programming experience.
- Prefer understanding of or experience with DNA manipulation techniques, sequencing methodologies, or other wet laboratory instrumentation.
