Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a Sr Data Scientist to analyze large amounts of raw information to address business challenges and refine our services. We will rely on you to build state-of-the-art solutions to extract valuable business insights out of this data.Your goal will be to help our company to create superior products by using artificial intelligence. Key ResponsibilitiesĀ
Work with stakeholders, such as the Engineering and Product Development teams, within Syniverse toidentify opportunities forleveraging company data to drive business solutions.Ā
Identify valuable data sources andfacilitate collection processes.Ā
Analyze data to discover trends and patterns using data visualization techniques.Ā
Preprocessing of structured and unstructured data.Ā
Build, execute andvalidate machine-learning models for classification,detection and prediction.Ā
Propose solutions and strategies for industry challenges (e. g. spam detection).Ā

Ā
Experience, Education, and Certifications:Ā
- BS/BA in Computer Science or Engineering; graduate degree in Math or Data Science is preferred.Ā
5+ yearsof proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst.Ā
Ā
AdditionalRequirements:Ā Ā
Strong problem-solving skills.Ā
Understanding of machine-learning techniques.Ā
Knowledge SQL and Python; familiarity withPyTorch is an asset.Ā
Analytical mind and business acumen.Ā
Strong math skills (statistics, algebra, calculus).Ā
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ā
