1. Lead and supervise the Market development team effectively and efficiently in region

  • Build excellent market development team, efficiency demand generation management
  • Manages and accountable for the success of all campaign & demand creation activities in the region.
  • Ownership of Market development process in region (Lead, Apply, Guide, Implement and Audit)
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory bodies
  • Communicate and adopt ‘best practices” – Market development in the region.
  • Drive Market development excellence and customer focus
  • Clearly define the “work-flow” process of the Market development team in region

2.  Develop and manages an effective distribution channel strategy in region

  • Develop effective partnership / alliances with all level of the value chain (farmers, key influences, retailers, dealers) to maximize market coverage and customers access, and to generate optimum sales revenue.
  • Manages growers & field activities mainly to drive customer demand
  • Improve brand visibility & brand equity in the region
  • Complain Handling Management

4.  Gather, Analyze and Communicate Market Place Information

  • Regular and accurate update on market size, opportunities, business environment, competitive information, customers etc.
  • Customer Database / Profile Management

5.   Demand Creation

  • Lead and supervise the effective implementation of demand creation activities
  • Field Promotion (Farmers meeting, Field Demos, Customers and end users’ Seminar)
  • Provide consultancy and technical support
  • Contribute to effective customer service activities
  • Effectively utilize marketing communication aids.

7.  Audit of Market Place Performance against Plan

  • Track and use key sales & marketing matrics
  • Market share, customer service, retention, satisfaction, customer complain etc
  • Drive continuous improvement in demand generation

8.  Core Values

  • Demonstrate Core Values Behaviors and ensure full compliance for self and subordinate.
  • The position requires good technical and market development background in agriculture.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in market development of agricultural products
  • Good communication and interpersonal skill is important
  • Advanced supervisory skill is essential
  • English is priority
