Location: Fremont, OH
Pay: $70,000–$90,000 per year, based on experience
Overtime: Paid for hours worked over 45 hours per week

Shifts Available:

• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, Monday–Friday
• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, Sunday evening–Friday morning
  

Job Summary

We are seeking experiencedProduction Supervisors to lead manufacturing operations at a busy production facility in Fremont, OH. These positions are responsible for supervising approximately90 employees, maintaining production standards, and creating a safe, accountable, and positive workplace culture.

The ideal candidate will have at least3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, withautomotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Candidates withunion manufacturing experience are highly desired.

Bilingual Spanish/English or Haitian Creole/English skills area plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead approximately 90 production employees across an assigned shift
• Manage daily production activities to meet safety, quality, productivity, and delivery goals
• Provide direction, coaching, and performance feedback to employees
• Hold employees accountable for attendance, performance, safety, quality, and productivity expectations
• Promote a positive, respectful, and healthy workplace culture
• Monitor production performance and address issues that could impact production goals
• Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and other departments to resolve production issues
• Ensure employees follow company policies, safety procedures, and standard work instructions
• Assist with employee training, development, and performance management
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, productivity, and employee engagement
• Address production concerns quickly and communicate issues to management
• Maintain accurate production and employee records as required
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and company goals
• Ensure proper staffing and coverage for the assigned shift
• Work overtime as needed to support production requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• Experience supervising a large production workforce preferred
• Union manufacturing experience is highly desirable
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to hold employees accountable while maintaining a positive workplace culture
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to work the assigned shift and overtime as needed
• Bilingual Spanish/English or Haitian Creole/English is a plus, but not required
