Pay: $18.50/hour

Job Summary

We are seeking adependable Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary facility. This position is responsible for cleaning offices, restrooms, break rooms, warehouse/terminal areas, and outdoor areas while following company sanitation and safety standards.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean facility and terminal areas using hand brooms, power scrubbers, sweepers, and vacuum cleaners.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility.
• Remove trash and refuse from offices, restrooms, break rooms, and other designated areas.
• Keep trash containers clean and properly maintained.
• Restock restrooms and other areas with necessary supplies.
• Maintain clean and sanitary restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Help move, relocate, and adjust office furniture as needed.
• Monitor pest control systems and report any issues.
• Maintain company grounds and parking areas free of litter and debris.
• Remove ice and snow from pedestrian walkways and parking areas as needed.
• Complete required reports related to labor, equipment, repairs, and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of equipment repairs and maintenance.
• Report safety hazards or facility concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow OSHA, MSDS/SDS, and company safety and sanitation procedures.
• Perform other custodial and facility-related duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or facility maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment and tools.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
• Dependable and able to follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in varying facility conditions.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and handle cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Ability to follow OSHA and workplace safety requirements.
