CNC Machinist – 1st Shift

Pay: $30.00–$40.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Location: New Carlisle, OH

Job Summary

We are seeking an experiencedCNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team on 1st shift. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and adjusting CNC machinery to produce precision components according to specifications and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience withFusion software and CNC machining, along with experience operatingHaas and Okuma machines. Strong attention to detail, the ability to read technical drawings, and experience making machine adjustments are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts
• Program, edit, and adjust CNC programs as needed
• UseFusion software for CNC programming and machining applications
• Operate and troubleshootHaas and Okuma CNC machines
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and tooling
• Make machine offsets and adjustments to maintain part quality and accuracy
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
• Perform in-process and final quality inspections
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
• Identify tooling, programming, or machining issues and troubleshoot problems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing standards

Qualifications

• Previous professional experience as aCNC Machinist
• Fusion software experience is required
• Haas CNC experience is required
• Okuma CNC experience is required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling, feeds, and speeds
• Ability to make machine offsets and adjustments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot machining issues
