Job description

The ESE Classroom Aide is responsible for assisting the teacher in carrying out the requirements of individual education plans of exceptional students. Must be able to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

Required qualifications, skills and experience

High School Diploma or GED plus one of the following: From an Accredited College – Associate or Higher Degree or 60 Semester Hours or passing score of 458 or higher on Paraprofessional Test.
$500.00 additional for 60+ Semester Hours*
$750.00 additional for Associate or Higher Degree*
*Added to base salary
