StrongMinds Uganda is a social enterprise founded in 2013 that treats depression in low-income populations by providing group interpersonal therapy (IPT-G), delivered by lay community health workers. StrongMinds is the only organization scaling a cost-effective solution to the depression epidemic. StrongMinds Uganda is looking for dynamic, suitably qualified and experienced national based in Kampala to fill the vacant position of Finance Assistant (full-time).

Overview of the Role: 

The role supports the day-to-day processing of payments, reconciliations, budget monitoring, statutory compliance and restricted-fund tracking. We are looking for someone with;

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field. 
• 1–2 years of finance or accounting experience, ideally in an NGO.
• CPA or ACCA enrollment candidates will have an added advantage.
