Let's start with the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our fast-growing BI & Analytics team at Stoiximan.

As part of our continued growth, this role will play a key part in driving the next phase of our data evolution,  transforming data into intelligence and intelligence into strategic business value.

You will work within a highly collaborative, innovative, and data-driven environment where your analytical outputs will directly influence decision-making, shape strategic direction, and contribute to Stoiximan’s sustained growth in a competitive and dynamic gaming industry.

As a Data Analyst, you will:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, Data Analysts, Data Engineers and cross-functional teams to gather, challenge and translate business requirements into clear analytical solutions.
• Design, develop and deliver end-to-end BI solutions, dashboards and visualizations that uncover performance trends, business risks and growth opportunities.
• Build, maintain and optimize Power BI reports, semantic models and DAX measures, ensuring performance, accuracy and scalability.
• Maintain, enhance and expand existing dashboards and reporting solutions, ensuring consistency with business definitions and KPI frameworks.
• Work with Azure Databricks and curated data models within a Unity Catalog framework, supporting data quality, reporting efficiency and scalable analytics in collaboration with Data Engineering.
• Support, advocate and promote the company’s Data Governance strategy, ensuring trusted, consistent and well-documented data usage across the organization.
• Translate complex data findings into clear insights, recommendations and storytelling outputs that support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Align, prioritize and coordinate BI and analytics initiatives with the wider Data team, ensuring focus, efficiency and business impact.
• Mentor and support team members by sharing best practices in BI development, analysis, visualization and stakeholder communication.
• Actively contribute to building and fostering a data-first culture across the company.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science or similar.
• 3+ years of experience in BI/ Data analyst or a relevant role.
• Excellent command of SQL or Python and strong experience with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX and dashboard performance optimization.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups, along with experience in Google Sheets and Google Slides.
• Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate technical insights clearly and engagingly to non-technical audiences.
• Analytical mindset with a solid understanding of statistical concepts, business metrics and KPI frameworks.
• Strategic thinking and confidence in collaborating with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent prioritization skills, with the ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines and solve challenges with urgency.
• Familiarity with Azure Databricks and Unity Catalog will be a strong advantage.
• Proactive, flexible and results-driven attitude with exceptional attention to detail.
