Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Work Hours: 3:30am-11:30am ET
Location:Hybrid - Pune India (3x days onsite)
ROLE SUMMARY
Designs, develops, supports, and enhances enterprise applications using .NET, Azure, Angular, SQL Server, and microservices technologies. Delivers scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions that support critical business operations and digital initiatives while contributing to application architecture, system integrations, and software development lifecycle activities.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
· Contribute to the design, development, and delivery of business-critical systems.
· Perform hands-on development and support of full-stack C#/.NET web applications within the Microsoft technology ecosystem.
· Set up, configure, and support integrations with third-party applications and platforms.
· Contribute to application architecture, technical design, and solution specification development.
· Develop scalable, maintainable, and supportable technology solutions that meet business and operational requirements.
· Develop solutions that align with established architecture standards and technology strategies.
· Provide technical input for estimates, timelines, and project planning activities.
· Participate in requirements gathering, analysis, and solution design activities.
· Follow and promote established coding standards, development best practices, and software quality guidelines.
· Ensure support and infrastructure teams receive the information necessary for successful deployment, support, and ongoing maintenance.
· Participate in peer code reviews and provide mentoring and technical guidance to less experienced developers.
TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS
· Expert-level proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and modern .NET platforms.
· Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, Dependency Injection, and Inversion of Control (IoC).
· Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs, microservices, web services, and service-oriented integrations.
· Advanced SQL Server development skills, including T-SQL, stored procedures, user-defined functions, views, query optimization, and database design.
· Proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript for modern web application development.
· Strong knowledge of Azure application services, cloud-native development patterns, and enterprise cloud solutions.
· Proficiency in designing and implementing enterprise application integrations and interfaces with third-party platforms.
· Strong understanding of application architecture principles, integration patterns, software engineering
best practices, and secure development methodologies.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
· 7+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using .NET technologies.
· 5+ years of experience with SQL Server development.
· 3+ years of experience developing applications using Angular.
· Experience mentoring junior developers and providing technical guidance within development teams.
· Experience working within Agile software development teams and SDLC best practices.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and assignments independently in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
· Strong documentation and organizational skills.
· Insurance, Reinsurance, or other financial services industry experience preferred.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
