Job Summary
The Front-End Web Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting modern web applications that enable operational intelligence, reporting, analytics, and data-access solutions across the IT Service Assurance portfolio.
This role collaborates closely with product owners, business stakeholders, data engineers, and backend developers to deliver scalable, secure, high-performing, and user-friendly applications integrated with enterprise data platforms and cloud-native services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive, scalable, and interactive web applications using React.js and modern front-end technologies.
- Build intuitive user interfaces, reusable components, dashboards, and data visualizations that provide actionable insights and support business decision-making.
- Ensure applications meet accessibility, usability, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility standards.
- Develop and integrate cloud-native solutions using AWS services, including S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DevSpaces, and AWS Kiro.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate REST APIs, microservices, real-time data services, and serverless architectures.
- Build advanced reporting, analytics, dashboarding, and data visualization capabilities using modern charting frameworks.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Participate in application architecture discussions, technical design reviews, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
- Follow established software engineering practices, including version control, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, secure coding standards, and DevOps practices.
- Support ongoing enhancements, maintenance, and continuous improvement of web applications and solutions.
- Continuously evaluate industry trends, emerging technologies, and modern development practices to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Independently research, prototype, and recommend new solutions or enhancements to improve user experience, increase operational efficiency, and support future business needs.
- 7+ years of experience developing modern web applications using React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles and responsive web design.
- 7+ years of experience with AWS cloud services and serverless application development, including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DevSpaces, and Kiro.
- Strong experience integrating REST APIs and working with JSON, microservices, and data-driven applications.
- Experience building dashboards, analytics solutions, interactive visualizations, and charts using frameworks such as D3.js.
- Strong understanding of serverless architecture and cloud-native application development.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, testing frameworks, and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with Git, automated testing, debugging, application security, and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
