Sr. Backend Developer

Our client, a Financial company, is looking for a App Dev - Sr. Backend Developer for their Wilmington, DE/ McLean, VA/ Richmond, VA/ New York City, NY/Hybrid location.
 
Responsibilties:

• Data Quality - Built a validation component for data security; understands schema drift and backfill handling.

• Java, Scala, Spark
• AWS Pipeline Experience - Hands-on with S3, Glue, Step Functions, and Lambda across multi-stage data pipelines.
• Event-Based Architecture - Understand EventBridge rules and S3 event notifications. Know how to handle reruns from event-based triggers.
• Step Functions - Understand state machine scheduling and downstream job synchronization.
• Glue and Scaling - Comfortable with Glue job configuration and scaling. Self-researched Glue 4.0 Iceberg limitations when he encountered them.
