System Engineer – Simulation Infrastructure (W/M)

We are looking for aPlatform Expert / System Engineer to support and maintain a complexsimulation infrastructure environment across multiple sites in Switzerland.
You will play a key role in ensuring system reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of bothvirtualized and physical infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Understand and operate within the existingtechnical ecosystem (systems, tools, processes)
• Collaborate with stakeholders onproject requirements, backlog, and user stories
• Providehands-on support, including escalated incident resolution
• Maintain and optimizevirtual and physical server infrastructures
• Ensuredata security, system performance, and stability
• Performmonitoring, troubleshooting, and incident management (recovery & repair)
• ExecuteOS upgrades and performance tuning
• Interact with internal users and technical teams

• Hands-on, autonomous, and team-oriented
• Strong communication skills in English, Agile mindset
• Solid experience ininfrastructure management & monitoring
• Expertise inVMware (v8/9) anddatacenter environments (virtual & bare metal)
• Strong knowledge ofWindows Server 2022 / Windows 11 / RHEL 8–9
• Experience withAnsible automation,Jira, andConfluence
