In this role, you will contribute to developing and optimizing the backbend
solutions supporting our luxury Maisons across e-commerce and omni-channel retail platforms.
You will design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices, ensuring seamless integration withĀ 
systems involved in order management, fulfilment, and retail operations. Working closely with SoftwareĀ 
Engineers, Architects, DevOps, and Product Analysts, you will deliver high-quality solutions aligned withĀ 
business needs and technology standards.


Operating in an Agile and international environment, you will contribute to all phases of the developmentĀ 
lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and support, while helping ensure the reliability andĀ 
performance of the digital platforms.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


ā–Ŗ Analyse business and technical requirements to design and develop robust backend solutions supportingĀ 
omni-channel retail and order management processes.
ā–Ŗ Develop, test, debug, and deploy Java-based microservices, ensuring scalability, reliability, andĀ 
performance.
ā–Ŗ Design and implement integrations with Order Management Systems and retail platforms, supportingĀ 
key flows such as order orchestration, inventory visibility, fulfilment, returns, and payment flows.
ā–Ŗ Maintain and improve existing services, ensuring high code quality, maintainability, and reliability.
ā–Ŗ Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, integration issues, and performance bottlenecks.
ā–Ŗ Collaborate with the Support team to investigate and resolve production incidents related to omni-retailĀ 
and order management services.
ā–Ŗ Work with the DevOps team to implement and improve CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deploymentĀ 
processes.
ā–Ŗ Review functional specifications and translate them into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
ā–Ŗ Collaborate with QA Engineers to support testing strategies and contribute to automated testing.
ā–Ŗ Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Product/Solution by recommending technicalĀ 
enhancements and optimizations.
ā–Ŗ Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives).

Technical Skills


ā–Ŗ 5+ years of experience as a Java Software Engineer, with strong expertise in Java 21 and the SpringĀ 
ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, Spring Cloud).
ā–Ŗ Proven experience developing microservices-based solutions using event-driven architectures and APIfirst principles.
ā–Ŗ Experience working with Order Management Systems (OMS), Fluent Commerce, supporting orderĀ 
orchestration and omni-retail processes.
ā–Ŗ Strong experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs (OpenAPI/Swagger) and working withĀ 
JSON, XML, HTTP, and GraphQL.
ā–Ŗ Experience building omni-retail and e-commerce solutions, including order lifecycle, inventoryĀ 
visibility, fulfilment, returns, payment flows.
ā–Ŗ Proficiency with databases such as MySQL, and MongoDB.
ā–Ŗ Hands-on experience with containerized and cloud-native environments, including Docker, Kubernetes,Ā 
and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).
ā–Ŗ Experience working with event messaging systems and integration patterns (e.g., AWS SQS, Solace,Ā 
Pub/Sub architectures).
ā–Ŗ Familiarity with security best practices including OAuth2, OIDC, and IAM solutions such as Keycloak
and Okta
ā–Ŗ Experience with modern development and testing tooling, including IntelliJ, SonarQube, Datadog,Ā 
Insomnia, and the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence).

Strong expertise in OmniĀ Retail. Demonstrated experience in the following key areas:

Ā 

  • Experience inĀ connecting online sales platformsĀ with physicalĀ retail operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, click-and-collect, and in-storeĀ returnsĀ forĀ online purchases.
  • Inventory Management & Fulfillment Optimization: Understanding and experience inĀ optimizing inventory visibilityĀ and fulfillment processesĀ across warehouses, stores, and online channels to meet customer expectations (e.g., ship-from-store, endless aisle).
  • Integration with OMS FluentĀ isĀ a plus.
  • E-commerce & Omnichannel Integration:Ā Manage the integration of online sales platforms with physicalĀ retail operationsĀ forĀ unified inventory, efficient order fulfillment (e.g., click-and-collect, ship-from-store), and seamless online purchaseĀ returns. Seamless customer experience across all touchpoints (online, in-store, mobile).Ā Concepts like BOPIS, ship from store, and unified inventory.
