Job Title: SQL Server BI Consultant (SSAS/SSIS/SSRS)
Location: Toronto, ON, Canada (Hybrid/Onsite depending on client needs)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SQL Server BI Consultant with strong expertise inSQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) to join our client's team inToronto, Canada.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience indesigning, developing, and maintaining OLAP cubes using SSAS, integrating data with SSIS, and building insightful reports with SSRS. This role is perfect for professionals passionate about deliveringhigh-performance business intelligence solutions and supporting enterprise-level decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintainOLAP cubes and multidimensional models using SSAS.
  • ImplementETL processes with SSIS to extract, transform, and load large datasets from various sources.
  • Create, optimize, and manageSSRS reports and dashboards to provide actionable business insights.
  • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve existing BI infrastructure to ensure scalability and performance.
  • Performdata mining, ad-hoc queries, and performance tuning for analytical workloads.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience withMicrosoft SQL Server BI Stack (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS).
  • Strong proficiency inOLAP cube design, MDX, and DAX queries.
  • Expertise inETL workflows and handling large datasets.
  • Experience indata modeling, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling.
  • Proficiency inT-SQL for database queries, stored procedures, and optimization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in anenterprise BI environment (finance, retail, healthcare, or similar industries preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)

  • Experience withPower BI or Tableau for advanced reporting and visualization.
  • Exposure toAzure SQL Data Warehouse / Azure Analysis Services.
  • Knowledge ofdata mining algorithms and predictive analytics.
