Who Weā€™re Looking For (Position Overview):
The Full Stack Software Developer supports the design, development, testing, and maintenance of web applications and backend services in a modern cloud-hosted environment. The role focuses on iterative delivery, secure and maintainable code, and collaboration with engineering stakeholders across the software lifecycleĀ 

What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities):

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy new features across front-end and back-end application layers.Ā 

  • Build andĀ maintainĀ representational state transfer (REST) application programming interfaces (APIs) usingĀ FastAPI.Ā 

  • Develop responsive and accessible React-based front-end interfaces.Ā 

  • Implement and manage PostgreSQL data models, queries, migrations, and stored procedures.Ā 

  • Work within a trunk-based development workflow using short-lived branches, frequent integration, and feature flags whereĀ appropriate.Ā 

  • Package and support containerized application deployments using Docker and Amazon Web Services (AWS)-hosted environments.Ā 

  • Investigate and resolve defects, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities.Ā 

  • Write andĀ maintainĀ unit, integration, and regression tests, andĀ maintainĀ technical documentation for developed systems.Ā 

What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements):

  • Five years of experience in full stack software development.Ā 

  • DemonstratedĀ proficiencyĀ in Python,Ā FastAPI, ReactJS, PostgreSQL, and Docker.Ā 

  • Familiarity with AWS services used to deploy,Ā monitor, and troubleshoot cloud-hosted applications.Ā 

  • Experience contributing to testing, code review, and documentation workflows.Ā 

  • Ability to meet federal screening and suitability requirements prior to start.Ā 

Ideally, You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) concepts and infrastructure-as-code tooling such as Terraform and GitHub Actions.Ā
