As we continue to expand our business, we are seeking a curious and passionate individual to join our team asPayment & Treasury Operations Manager (f/m/d) and drive our business forward.
What Will Your Role Be
As a Payment & Treasury Operations Manager, you are responsible for the smooth execution, monitoring, and optimization of all payment flows within sprd.net AG. You ensure that incoming and outgoing payments are processed securely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant regulations, making a key contribution to liquidity management and operational reliability in an international e-commerce environment. In this role, you work closely with Accounting, Fraud Prevention, IT, Controlling, and our payment service providers (e.g., Adyen).
What You´ll Do
Payment Operations
Manage and monitor all payment operations across multiple payment methods (e.g., credit cards, SEPA, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, iDEAL, Twint)
Oversee daily payment reconciliations and outstanding transactions, including the accurate posting and processing of daily bank movements
Handle and track chargebacks, refunds, disputes, and failed payments
Serve as the main contact for payment service providers, banks, and internal stakeholders
Analyze and optimize payment processes to improve efficiency, conversion, and customer satisfaction
Collaborate closely with Fraud Prevention to reduce financial risk and enhance fraud controls
Treasury & Liquidity Management
Manage cash and liquidity operations across sprd.net AG and its subsidiaries
Support cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning
Monitor bank accounts, balances, and payment flows
Assist with intercompany settlements, FX management, and international payments
Reporting & Compliance
Prepare regular reports, analyses, and KPIs on payment and liquidity performance
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including KYC, AML, PSD2, and GDPR
Support internal and external audits related to Payment and Treasury operations
What You´ll Bring
Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a comparable commercial qualification (banking apprenticeship or equivalent background)
Several years of experience in Payment Operations, Treasury, or Finance, ideally within e-commerce, FinTech, or a financial institution
Strong knowledge of payment processing, banking operations, liquidity management, and international payment flows
Experience with payment platforms (e.g., Adyen, PayPal) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite)
Good understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements, including KYC, AML, and PSD2
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a process-oriented mindset
Self-driven, structured working style with excellent communication skills
Fluent in German and English
